29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4)(ii)(B): Where connected to a branch circuit supplying two or more receptacles or outlets, a receptacle supplied a total cord- and plug-connected load in excess of the maximum specified in Table S-4: (a) In the break room area, the Magic Chef microwave operating at 1.5 kilowatts was plugged into a 15 amp Relocatable Power Tap (RPT) rated for 12 amps. Also, plugged into the RPT was a a Crosley Refrigerator operated at 4.5 amps and computer equipment (i.e. monitor, printer) operated at approximately 60 watts and chargers, thereby exceeding the rated capacity of the RPT which overloaded the relocatable power tap and the receptacle.
