29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: a) On or about 04/14/14, on Veterinary Hospital under Construction at 4229 Clark St.,Hamburg, NY: An employees used a Makita Sawzall to cut a hole in the roof. The outer sheath of the cord of the Sawzall was frayed at the plug, exposing the conductors. Additionally, the plug of the Sawzall had 3 prongs, but only two conductors were connected to the plug. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
