29 CFR 1910.1030(h)(5)(i)(A): The employer did not maintain a sharps injury log that contained at a minimum the type and brand of device involved in the incident: a). The employer failed to maintain sharp logs for the calendar year of 2012, in which one needle stick injury occurred. The employer failed to provide on the sharps logs at the minimum the type and brand of device, where the exposure occurred, how the incident occurred, etc. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
