29 CFR 1910.23(e)(1): The railing did not consist of top rail, intermediate rail, and posts, and did not have a vertical height of 42 inches nominal from upper surface of top rail to floor, platform, runway, or ramp level: JOB SITE: 415 Nahua Street, Honolulu, HI 96815, on or before 4/16/2014, at this facility located in the elevator room above the 10th floor of the building, the existing guardrail's top rail measured approximately 32 inches in height and did not have an intermediate rail. The fall distance measured approximately 98 inches to the bottom of the stairway. The workers were exposed to a fall hazard.
