29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Construction site, Parapet over main entry at elevation E01 - On or about April 22, 2014, An employee standing on a low slope roof parapet while directing a crane hoisting roofing material, was not protected from falling more than 6 feet to the next lower level, exposing the employee to serious injury or death. Kraus Commercial Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312978802, citation number 002, item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/29/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 500 Haws Lane, Flourtown, PA.
