29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, warning line system, or a safety monitoring system. On 16 April 2014, two workers were performing roofing activities on a low sloped roof of a subdivision entry tower without fall protection, exposing the workers to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet to the ground below. The Boling Roofs & Sheet Metal Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 934373, citation number 01, item number 001A and was affirmed as a final order on 10/30/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 731 U.S. 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620.
