29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators. a) Porch roof of residence of residence located at 1001 Fieldstone trail, Alpharetta, Georgia. An employee was using a platform hoist as a ladder to mount and dismount a porch roof approximately 12-feet 6-inches above ground level. The manufacturers warning signage states that climbing the track sections of the hoist could result in injury or death.
