29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks;                                                                                                               a)    This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the manual area, employees operated a Bridgeport drill press model PL-325L, S/N 701563-A-25 with no guard over rotating parts.    b)    This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the intergres area, employees were operating a Baldor Grinder with no guards in the metal fabricating area exposed to hazards associated with contacting the rotating parts of the machine.    c)    This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the lathe area, employees operated a Bridgeport drill press with no guard over rotating parts.    d)    This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the assembly area, employees were operating a Baldor Grinder S/N L-2 with no guards exposed to hazards associated with contacting the rotating parts of the machine.

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4):  Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch:       a) This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the assembly area, employees operating the Baldor grinder 6 inch diameter wheel S/N L-2 and s/n F674 with 115 volts-3450 RPM that did not have the work rest properly adjusted close to abrasive wheels.       b) This violation occurred on April 25, 2014 and at times prior thereto, in the intergres area, employees were operating a Baldor Grinder with no work rest exposing employees to hazards associated with contacting the rotating parts of the machine.
