29 CFR 1910.178(m)(3): Unauthorized personnel shall not be permitted to ride on powered industrial trucks. A safe place to ride shall be provided where riding of trucks is authorized. a. On or about April 23, 2014 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee, while visiting a third party location, was allowed to ride in a Crown Turret Stock Picker 7000 during a tour of the facility and a safe place to ride was not available on the machine, thereby exposing the employee to serious bodily harm.
