29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): Guard for abrasive wheel machine where the operator stands in front of the machine was not constructed so that the peripheral protecting member could be adjusted to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel: (a) Maintenance Shop; A Milwaukee bench grinder had grinding wheels on the left and right side with no tongue guard. The opening between the machine housing and the wheels were greater than 1/4 inch and could not be adjusted to the decreasing diameter of the wheels. Employees were exposed to potential struck by hazards.
