29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or  were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve:  (a) Near the blue abrasive blasting cabinet, filtering facepiece respirators required by the employer to be worn while operating abrasive blasting equipment,  were stored on equipment and were not protected from becoming contaminated with silica or aluminum oxide dust.   (b) Near the yellow abrasive blasting cabinet, half face elastomeric respirators required by the employer to be worn while operating abrasive blasting equipment,  were stored on or under work benches and were not protected from becoming contaminated with silica or aluminum oxide dust.
