29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about May 8, 2014, employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet while re-roofing a steep roof with no fall protection in place. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). Becerra's Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313722340, citation number 1, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on September 24, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 312 Smithland, La Junta, Colorado, 81050.
