OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees as it pertains to falls while riding a material hoist up to the roof.   A)  Driveway, left side of House - NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 22 feet as he was standing on and riding a material hoist from the ground up to the roof for access, on or about April 28th, 2014.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):   Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):    A) Roof of garage:  An employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8, 19 and 22 feet while engaged in roofing work on a garage roof. The exposed employees were not protected by any type of fall protection system, on or about April 28th, 2014.
