29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: a. On or about May 8, 2014- at a jobsite located at 3319 S. Ridge Road, Lansing, IL.- The employer did not ensure employees performing masonry activities from a tubular welded framed scaffold were trained in the hazards associate in their work environment, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards of approximately ten (10) feet, eight (8) inches.
