29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On or about 5/8/14 at the wall/door opening on the northeast side dining room area on the back side of the building: Employees exiting the wall/door openings where eight 5 1/4 inch in length rebar sections were protruding from the floor exposing the employees to an impalement hazard.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: On or about 5/8/14 at the A & B Wing stairway of the building; Employees using the stairways with up to 60 or more risers to access the upper levels of the multi-family residence were not provided handrails. a. A wing of the multi-family residence with 30 or more risers. b. B wing of the multi-family residence with 30 or more risers. The Cameron General Contractors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1052(c)(1)(I), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314303678, citation number1, item number5 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/10/11, with respect to a workplace located at 1950 S A.W. Grimes Blvd in Round Rock, TX 78664.
