29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): Warehouse, Hyster propane-gas powered sit down forklift: on or about May 9, 2014, an employee operating a forklift for loading and unloading products was not properly evaluated in operating knowledge and skills as specified in the standard to ensure compliance in safe operation. There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
