29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    (a) 1356 Riverview Drive, Barboursville WV: Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 8 feet 10 inches to the lowest portion of the ground, while conducting HVAC work from the rafters. The employees were not protected by a personal fall arrest system, as observed on or about 05/12/2014.    (b) 1356 Riverview Drive, Barboursville WV: An employee was installing HVAC ductwork in the rafters of the building. The employee was found descending from the rafters using the guard railing on a Skyjack, Model number 3219, Scissor lift. The employee was exposed to an 8 foot 10 inch fall to the lowest portion of the ground, as observed on or about 05/12/2014.      ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
