29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3): Complete inspections of the crane was not being performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(b) of this section: At the time of the inspection, the Gorbel 150 overhead hoist used to lift boxes of product had not been inspected prior to the accident on 2/10/2014 where the lift bar fell striking an employee in the head. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
