29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a) 14 Harding Street, Edison, NJ 08820. The employer allowed his employee to work on and from the roof of a two story single family home installing new roofing materials with no fall protection system in place in that the employee was donning a rope around his waist secured to a roof anchor. Condition occurred on or about 05/17/14.

29 CFR 1926.502(a)(2): The employer did not provide and install all fall protection systems required by this subpart for an employee, and did not comply with all other pertinent requirements of this subpart before that employee began the work that necessitates the fall protection: a) 14 Harding Street, Edison, NJ 08820. The employer failed to provide and install fall protection systems when he allowed his employee to use a 1 rope tied around his waist, anchored to the roof as his Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) exposing him to fall hazards. Condition occurred on or about 05/17/14.
