Observed on or 5/12/2014. ABATEMENT NOTE: Employees using cement or any other hazardous materials should be provided and required to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves.

29 CFR 1926.59: 29 CFR 1926.59: An employer engaged in construction activities did not comply with the requirements set forth in Part 1910, Section 1200, Hazard Communication: a) Location Route 13 South of Route 73, Delaware City: Employers did not provide all employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets. Observed on or 5/12/2014. ABATEMENT NOTE: Employees using or working around any hazardous materials should be provided with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area.
