29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     (a)AJM Framers, Inc. at 801 S. Cherry Creek Street, Denver, CO 80246: On and before May 15th, 2014, the employer did not ensure appropriate fall protection was provided and used while an employee(s) worked near the open sided floor on level 3. The condition exposed an employee to a fall hazard of approximately 30.     (b)AJM Framers, Inc. at 801 S. Cherry Creek Street, Denver, CO 80246: On and before May 15th, 2014, the employer did not ensure appropriate fall protection was provided and used to prevent employees falling from an open sided floor on level 3 next to a job made wood ladder. The condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous, to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them):       (a)AJM Framers, Inc., 801 S. Cherry Creek Street, Denver, CO 80246:  On and before May 15th, 2014, the employer did not ensure a safety program was developed and implemented for the work environment to include regular inspections of the job-site, materials and equipment; conducted by a competent person. Located on level three, an employee was permitted to work while exposed to an open sided floor.  The condition exposed an employee to a fall hazard of approximately 30 feet.    (b)AJM Framers, Inc., 801 S. Cherry Creek Street, Denver, CO 80246:  On and before May 15th, 2014, the employer did not ensure a safety program was developed and implemented for the work environment to include regular inspections of the job-site, materials and equipment; conducted by a competent person. Employees were permitted to use a job built ladder directly next to an unguarded open sided floor. The condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet from level 3 to level 2.        Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (See enclosed Abatement-Certification Letter).       AJM Framers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313416182, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 22, 2010 , with respect to a workplace located at 13585 Via Varra Rd. Broomfield, CO, 80031.
