29 CFR 1910.179(b)(6)(ii): Where passageways or walkways are provided obstructions shall not be placed so that safety of personnel will be jeopardized by movements of the crane. Bay #1 - On or about May 19, 2014, an operator of overhead crane #2 was struck-by the load he was moving into a fixed barrier guard. The employer did not ensure the area needed to move loads was free from obstructions, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control boxes shall be constructed to prevent electrical shock and shall be clearly marked for identification of functions. Bay #1 - On or about May 19, 2014, the employer did not ensure the directional indicators on the remote controlled pendant used to operate crane #2 was clearly marked. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazard.
