29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system:      (a) Brinkmann Constructors at 5490 Spine Rd, Boulder, CO 80301:  On May 20, 2014 the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontractor employees were protected from injury, in that two subcontractor employees framing near the edge of the top floor of building F were not utilizing fall protection.  Each worker wore a fall harness; however, their harness was not attached to the lanyard of the fall protection system.  A parapet ranging from 18 inches to 30 inches was installed.  This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall of approximately 30 feet.         (b) Brinkmann Constructors at 5490 Spine Rd, Boulder, CO 80301:  On May 20, 2014 the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontractor employees were protected from injury, in that two subcontractor employees framing near the edge of the top floor of building F were not utilizing fall protection.  A parapet ranging from 18 inches to 30 inches was installed.  This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall of approximately 30 feet.         (c) Brinkmann Constructors at 5490 Spine Rd, Boulder, CO 80301:  On May 20, 2014 the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontractor employees were protected from injury, in that one subcontractor employee walked the top plate of an exterior wall on a one-story building without utilizing fall protection.  The worker wore a fall harness; however, the harness was not attached to the lanyard of the fall protection system.  This condition exposed the subcontractor employee to a fall of approximately 10 feet.
