29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Whenever the employer allows employees to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) is present, the employer shall ensure that eating and drinking areas and surfaces are maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI).   a. Café Building/Employees Eating Room - On or about May 22, 2014, the employer had not ensure that eating and drinking area surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable from hexavalent chromium - Cr (VI). Employees were thereby exposed to the chemical hazards of chromium compounds. The eating and drinking area surfaces and their respectively accumulations of hexavalent chromium were the following;   1.  The refrigerator's door handle surface showed the hexavalent chromium accumulation of 0.2462 micrograms per 10 square centimeters of area.   2.  At the southeast corner, the top surface on the lunch table showed the hexavalent chromium accumulation of 0.1888 micrograms per 10 square centimeters of area.    3. At the northeast corner, the top surface on the lunch table showed the hexavalent chromium accumulation of 0.2032 micrograms per 10 square centimeters of area.   4. At the south corner, the top surface on the freezer showed the hexavalent chromium accumulation of 0.2411 micrograms per 10 square centimeters of area.
