OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:    (a)  On or about 19 May, 2014, and at times prior to that date, Torgeson Electric Company, as the creating and exposing employer, did not protect employees from impaling hazards created by unprotected metal conduit that extended from the floor into the workplace approximately 12 inches.      Abatement Note:  Among other methods, the following are feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct the hazards:   1) Install rebar caps on top of the protruding metal conduit.    2) Install the metal conduit in such a manner that they are not protruding into the working area.
