29 CFR 1910.106(d)(5)(ii): "Containers." The storage of flammable liquids in containers or portable tanks did not comply with subdivisions (iii) through (v) of this subparagraph.    Location 60 Anthony Street, maintenance Shop South side of building.    a). Employees were using aerosol and enamel paints to paint dumpsters and containers. The storage of the paint on open metal shelving and 5 gallon cans on top of each other in the corner of the room..  The flammable liquids were not stored in cabinetss.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i): All pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings shall be provided with covers identified for the purpose. If metal covers are used, they shall be grounded. In completed installations, each outlet box shall have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy. Covers of outlet boxes having holes through which flexible cord pendants pass shall be provided with bushings designed for the purpose or shall have smooth, well-rounded surfaces on which the cords may bear.    a). 60 Anthony Street, Northwest corner of Maintenance Shop.    Employees were exposed to electrical burns and shock because the cover plates for the multi duplex outlets was not affixed to the junction box.

An adequate supply of suitable portable fire extinguishers were not available and installed near all spraying areas.    a); Location; Maintenance Shed, 60 Anthony Street, Brooklyn, NY    Employees were working in the maintenance shed using/in close proximity to compressed gas and flamable paint products without the proper fire extinguishers/fire fighting equipment within arms reach to combat accidental fire while welding or cutting metal within the shop area.

Location: Maintenance Shed, on property of 60 Anthony Street, Brooklyn, NY    Employee was working in the spraying area used to paint demolition containers, metal and other equipment which did not have an approved "No Smoking" sign affixed to a conspicuous place within the spray area.
