29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) 110 Main St Monson, MA: On or about March 18, 2014, employees were exposed to falls in excess of 8 ft. from the walking/working surface of the police station being constructed at this address due to the lack of fall protection:   Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who is constructing a leading edge 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) 110 Main St Monson, MA: On or about March 18, 2014, 2 employees were installing sub flooring at the leading edge of the police station being constructed, more than 8 ft. above the ground below without fall protection:   Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
