29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  a) CNC machine area: Employees were using compressed air nozzles with air pressures of 50 p.s.i. and 90 p.s.i to remove metals chips from CNC machines. Pressure reducers or relief devices were not used to reduce air pressure to below 30 p.s.i. exposing employees to injuries from flying particulates, on or about May 22, 2014.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.305(j)(1)(i): Fixtures, lampholders, lamps, rosettes, and receptacles located within 8 feet of the floor had live parts exposed to employee contact:  a) Inspection Area: A receptacle connected to an energized outlet was lying on the floor next to the hand sanitizer exposing employees to electrical shock, on or about May 22, 2014.  No abatement certification or documentation required.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  a) Manufacturing Area: Employees using isopropyl alcohol and machine coolants were not provided with information on the new labeling system and safety data sheet structure, on or about May 22, 2014.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
