One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. A.) On or about Wednesday, May 21st 2014 at 55-15 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378 Instance 1: The rotating parts of a Printer Slotter machine located on the 2nd floor of the building were observed unguarded exposing employees to amputation hazards. Instance 2: The rotating parts of a bundler machine located on the 1st floor of the building were observed unguarded exposing employees to amputation hazards. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
