29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On the east and north side of the building, employees were working from the edge of an unprotected roof, without fall protection, loading and offloading a building exhaust fan from a material handler, exposed to a fall of more than 26 feet to the next lower level.

29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: (a) On the east and north side of the building, employees working from an unprotected low-slope roof replacing a metal roofing system were exposed to a fall of more than 26 feet to the next lower level, as no fall protection measures were in place to protect employees from falling.
