29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: Employees reroofing the single story house at 114 Westview Rd., Galva, Kansas were exposed to fall hazards of 9 feet 6 inches to the ground below. Employees were not trained on fall protection methods and when/how to use it to minimize and eliminate the exposure to a fall.
