29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Second Level, North Side of Building - Employees did concrete finishing work on the newly poured concrete deck between column line 2 and column line 3 on the second level of the building. Employees had no protection from falling, 6 feet 2.5 inches to the ground below, by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems along the entire north edge of this level, on or about May 27, 2014. No abatement certification or documentation required.
