The employer does not ensure that employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were protected by a fall protection system.  This violation occurred on or about May 29, 2014 when an employee was exposed to a fall of more than 6 feet while doing framing work on the second level of a residential building under construction without a fall protection system.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure employees engaged in residential construction activities at heights six feet or more are protected from falling.
