29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: a) On or about May 27, 2014, the controlling employer, Interstate Roofing, Inc., did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite so as to ensure subcontracted employees, who were required to engage in re-roofing operations, were appropriately protected from exposure to fall hazards. Interstate Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2) or its equivalent which was contained in OSHA inspection 935971, Citation 1, Item 1, issued September 9, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 12008 Ida Circle, Englewood, CO 80111. This citation became final on October 15, 2013. The final abatement date for this citation was September 30, 2013.
