29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502.  Worksite: The employees who were exposed to fall hazards while working on the residential roof  and in and around stairwells were not protected from fall hazards by the use of guardrails, safety nets or personal fall arrest systems.   WB Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 899526, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 5/20/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 27-33 Woods Lane, Newtown, CT 06470 and became a final order on 6/25/2013.    WB Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315339325, citation number 1, item number 4a, issued on 10/13/2011 with respect to a workplace located at 47 South Main Street, Newtown, CT and became a final order on 10/20/2011.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.  Worksite: The employees who were exposed to fall hazards while working from the roof and inside the house under construction  were not trained in fall hazards and the procedures to be followed to minimize such hazards.    WB Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315339325, citation number 1, item number 4b, issued on 10/13/2011 with respect to a workplace located at 47 South Main Street, Newtown, CT and became a final order on 10/20/2011.
