29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. 3157 Elm Street NE, Covington, GA (Jobsite) - Employees were exposed to fall hazard. Employees were working, dumping old roof material such as shingles and felt paper, while standing at the edge of the flat roof approximately 17 feet above ground level into the trash dumpster. The employees were not utilizing any type of fall protection, on or about 05/30/14.
