29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level: a. 3157 Elm Street NE, Covington, GA - Subcontractor employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Subcontractor masonry employees was in the process of laying bricks and mortar from the edge of an unguarded section/area of a tubular welded-frame scaffold on the second level platform approximately 12 feet from ground level. The area of the scaffold that the employees was working was not equipped with a guardrail system, on or about 05/30/14.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. 3157 Elm Street NE, Covington, GA (Jobsite) - Subcontractor employees were exposed to fall hazard. Subcontractor roofer employees were working, dumping old roof material such as shingles and felt paper, while standing at the edge of the flat roof approximately 17 feet above ground level into the trash dumpster. The employees were not utilizing any type of fall protection, on or about 05/30/14.
