On 5/22/2014, workers from BMAC Construction were repairing a roof of a Holiday Inn Express located at 1175 Technology Drive, O'Fallon MO. Two employees were not wearing eye protection while using pneumatic nailers

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 5/22/2014, workers from BMAC Construction were repairing a roof of a Holiday Inn Express located at 1175 Technology Drive, OFallon MO. One employee was repairing the roof, which was approximately 35 feet above the ground, without the proper use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
