29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer shall verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification that identifies the workplace evaluated; the person certifying that the evaluation has been performed; the date(s) of the hazard assessment; and, which identifies the document as a certification of hazard assessment. (a) George Washington Bridge Security Guard Posts 1, 8 & 9: Security personnel accessed the posts from company vehicles that park on the side of the roadway of the George Washington Bridge, or from narrow park roads. The personnel executed their rounds during a wide variety of weather conditions, twenty four hours a day 7 days a week, but there was no written Hazard Assessment, on or about April 30, 2014. (b) George Washington Bridge Security Guard Post 1: A Security Post is located at the foot of the New Jersey Tower therefore, security personnel executing their rounds were subject to overhead hazards, but there was no written Hazard Assessment, on or about April 30, 2014.
