Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Cross braces were used as a means of access: a) Upper and Lower Scaffold Sections - Workers were observed using scaffold members to step up and step down 2 feet 6 inches to and from their working level on a tubular weld scaffold, on or about May 28, 2014. b) 2nd Level Scaffold Section and Transformer Rooftop - Workers were observed using the scaffold cross braces to climb up and down 3 feet 2 inches to and from the transformer's rooftop on or about May 28, 2014. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
