29 CFR 1926.451(d)(12)(vi): When U-bolt clips were used, the U-bolt was placed over the live end of the rope, and the saddle was placed over the dead end of the rope. On May 28, 2014, on the south wall of the ITC Building, a suspended scaffold was in use with the U-bolt placed over the live end of the rope, and the saddle was placed over the dead end of the rope of the anchor cable.
