29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about June 6, 2014 at the worksite located at 7977 Hills and Dales Rd., Massillon Ohio 44646, the employer failed to protect employees from falling from a height of approximately 23 ft. while they were installing piggy back trusses on the top of the building. Architectural Interior Restoration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314382417, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/20/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 870 N. Court St., Medina, OH 44256.
