29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcement steel, onto and into which employees can fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) Five re-bar rods were not capped and sticking up two feet, located near the jobsite entrance steps. Employees were exposed to impalement hazard. Location: 55 Pearl Street, Brooklyn N.Y. On or about 5/14/2014 NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

Unstable cinderblocks used as steps were a trip/ fall hazard. Location: 55 Pearl Street, Brooklyn N.Y.
