29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 6/9/14 at a roof replacement project located at 8539 Boston State Road, Boston, New York; employees were tearing off the existing shingles on a residential roof with a 12 in 12 pitch and an eave height of approximately 20 feet. There was no fall protection in use. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
