29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): There shall be no damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating. a) At Risa Management Corp. 1033 Route 20, New Lebanon, NY 12125 on or about June 10, 2014 a 440 volt outlet in the steel shop near the main aisle had a cover that was deformed to the point that the internal elements of the outlet were exposed to the atmosphere. This exposed the employees in the shop to an electric shock hazard.
