An employee, using a pneumatic nail gun to install roof sheathing, without eye protection was exposed to injuries from flying debris.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) Roof of residence located at 1325 Brandywine Trail, Alpharetta, Georgia. The employer exposed an employee to fall hazards while installing roofing sheathing. The employee was working from a steep, 12 in 12, pitched roof without protection from fall hazards. The unprotected edge of the roof was 22-feet 4-inches above ground level.
