On June 10, 2014 employees were not provided with fall protection while working from a scaffold, exposing employees to a fall of 13'. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On June 10, 2014 an employees were not provided with fall protection while working at a residential property. Instance 1. Employees were exposed to a fall of 19' while laying out rafters from the roof. Instance 2. Employees were exposed to a fall of 10' as they worked from the second floor where a mid rail was missing from the window. Instance 3. Employees were exposed to a fall of 8' while working from the ceiling joist on the second floor. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
