29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: a) Sons of Thunder Contractor: On 6/13/14, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that employees conducting chalking and painting activities on the 4th and 6th floor of a residential apartment building were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
