29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At the jobsite, on the roof, on or about 5/29/14: Employees were installing roofing material while on an 8:12 pitch roof, with an approximate 12 feet ground to eave height, without fall protection. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
