29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:   (a)  By the Spotting Board, the handle used to help get stains out of clothing by use of air and/or steam had rags on it to reduce the amount of steam coming in contact with the employees.  The employees were not wearing appropriate personal protective equipment exposing employees to burn hazards.   (b)  By the Spotting Board, the controls to dispense the steam had an improper hose fitting which allowed steam to release a come in contact with the employees.  The employees were not wearing appropriate personal protective equipment exposing employees to burn hazards.   (c)  The Unipress (Model:  SDL46, S/N:  9238216) dry cleaning press had steam coming out of the sides which could come in contact with the employees.  The employees were not wearing appropriate personal protective equipment exposing employees to burn hazards.   (d)  The iron (no manufacturer identified) had steam coming out of the sides which could come in contact with the employees.  The employees were not wearing appropriate personal protective equipment exposing employees to burn hazards.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)  The Unipress (Model:  SDL 46, S/N:  9238216) dry cleaning press had inadequate guarding in that the press was activated by foot controls and one finger trip.  This exposed employees to caught in hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings regarding the chemicals contained therein:   (a)  A bottle filed with Purex Plus Oxi laundry soap and water was not properly labeled as to the contents inside and appropriate hazard warnings.   (b)  A 5-gallon bucket of waste water (water and PERC) was not properly labeled as to the contents inside and appropriate hazard warnings.
